Join us as a youth basketball coach where you will provide basketball instruction and promote the YMCA values of Honesty, Caring, Respect, Responsibility, and Inclusion to youth participants. Volunteers will provide a fun and safe environment to learn the basic skills of basketball and competition. Sign up to participate as either a head or assistant coach for youth basketball teams serving ages: Grades 1/2nd, 3/4th, 5/6th.

YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin
Each fall, we offer a six-week session of horseback riding lessons to our local school district's special education department. We are looking for volunteers that can assist with this very rewarding program. Volunteers are needed for the six-week session on either Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 8:45am-11:30am. No prior equestrian experience is needed and training will be provided. Tasks can include grooming, tacking, leading our horses, and/or side-walking with our students.

Our annual Fall Festival to raise money for the Special Needs Programs at YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin. Volunteers are needed approximately from 11am-4:30pm on Saturday, October 19th. Tasks may include: running carnival games, passing out candy, collecting tickets, etc.

Working with area colleges, this position provides Early Education students with hands-on classroom experience. Student Interns will observe YMCA staff implementing best practices, assist with carrying out lessons, provide support during classroom activities, etc. Exact duties will be influenced by specific course requirements.
